Bunny Recycling.

I don’t really like to eat pure chocolate. But every easter and every christmas, there is a bunch of bunnies or Santas lying around. So, I love to bake this yummy and extremely moist chocolate cake.

It’s really chocolatey, not too sweet and simply good. Let’s kill some chocolate bunnies!

This looks like a bunny massacre. But believe me, it’s for a good cause. What happens to most of the chocolate is this:

And who doesn’t love melted chocolate?

For this really moist chocolate cake, you need:

150 g milk chocolate, melted
100 g milk chocolate, chopped
3 eggs
120 g sugar
1 sachet
vanilla sugar
100 g butter (or margarine)
200 g flour – but after weighing put 2 tablespoons flour back and replace it with
2 tablespoons
cocoa powder
1 heaped teaspoon baking powder
150 ml milk
1 teaspoon
rum

Preheat your oven to 180° C / 360° F.
First, beat the eggs with sugar and butter until creamy. Add the chopped chocolate. Stir the rum in the milk and mix the flour with the cocoa and the baking powder. In turns, stir both mixtures in. Finally, stir in the melted chocolate. And that’s it! Fill the dough in your cake tin and bake it for about 1 hour.

Let it cool and then turn it out. Dust it with powdered sugar.

You could also cover it with chocolate frosting – But for me, that would be too much.

Tell your parents you killed bunnies for them. Bring them this great and moist chocolate cake. Have a piece with coffee. Enjoy.
