I found the original recipe here (it’s in German), but I changed it a bit and I wasn’t totally satisfied with the result – There was something missing. Something fruity. And strawberries made it perfect.
For 3 Little Pots of Chocolate, you need:
125 ml cream
85 g dark chocolate
2 tablespoons rum
about 200 g strawberries
Grate the chocolate as fine as possible. Heat the cream in a pot until it’s almost boiling, then set aside.
Mix chocolate, egg and rum, then stir in the hot cream until all the chocolate is melted.
Fill in little glasses or cups and put in the fridge for at least 2 hours. I made them the day before and put them in the fridge over night.
I then took them out about one hour before serving and made the strawberry topping: Put three strawberries aside to decorate the plate. Mix the rest with powdered sugar until you have a nice, sweet strawberry sauce. It should be sweet because the little pots lack sweetness.
